Review: Cardmaking & Papercraft - Issue 125 (December)

Sooo, sorry this is soooo very late - life has been very very manic and I am really struggling to keep up/catch up/ find time to sleep, but finally, here is my review of the latest issue of Cardmaking & Papercraft.

Anyway, I won't do my usual waffling on, instead, I will get straight on with the review.

This month's issue comes with a free vintage Christmas charm set, and as always the first project in the issue has some ideas for how to use your free gifts.  This issue they are all cards, but I think that these little charms would look equally good on gift boxes and other projects.

I really like the Amazing Origami cards and will have to try a couple of these designs.  Who knew there were so many ways of folding paper to make a Christmas tree?!  I like the modern CAS feel that these cards have.

The upcycle your brown paper bags feature has stolen my idea of using brown paper stamped with Christmas images to wrap my presents.  There is also a die-cut luminary and some decorations.

Other projects this issue include:
  • Knowhow Stamping creates some lovely wintery scenes
  • 10 ideas for Christmas gifts
  • The results of Cardmaker of the Year are announced
  • Santa's treat tray
  • Santa sweet box
  • Festive door hanger
  • Quick Makes has lots of Christmas-themed cards
  • the Masterclass has some table decorations, including a sweet bell jar scene
  • little house favour boxes
  • Leoni Pujol has tips on how to use adhesive sheets to add glitter and sparkle
  • New Years Eve partty decorations and invites
  • 10 minute makes has bright Christmas cards
  • 3 ideas with silicone moulds

Happy Crafting!
