Sooo, this is a card I made earlier in the week, but it has been a very busy (and somewhat stressful) week, so this is the first chance I have had to sit down and write.
Anyway, this is a card made for a colleague, whose birthday it is tomorrow, but I doubt very much that she reads the blog, so I think it is safe to share on here. My sister's birthday is also tomorrow, but I do know that she reads the blog so I can't share her card just yet - you will just have to wait for that.
I started this card by using an LOTV stamp to stamp 'birthday' in worn lipstick distress ink onto white card. I then cut this to size and layered it onto some mesh that I had in my stash - I guess I got this free with a magazine at some point but I'm not too sure.
I then layered some spotty and some stripey papers from my stash behind this and attached the lot onto some pink card.
I wrapped the finished panel with some sticky back lace and made some bows from some pink spotty ribbon.
I added some pink gems, a butterfly metal charm and, finally, some glittery foam letters to spell 'happy'.
It turned out much pinker than I ever intended, but I do quite like the pink.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
